Los Angeles County Fire Museum

The original Squad 51 is owned by and on display at the Los Angeles County Fire Museum in Los Angeles, California alongside the two “Engine 51” fire trucks used in the show: the open-cab Crown fire engine used in the first season, and the enclosed Ward LaFrance.

We encourage you to visit the museum if your travels take you to Los Angeles or check out their website and support them online.

Medstar Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses are often the start of long careers in EMS, public safety, and healthcare. EMT and Paramedic courses are held at several of the Medstar operating sites.

EMS education programs offer flexible scheduling, on-site and online learning resources, and a proud history of student success and employment.

EMTs completing Medstar certification and state licensure are often hired upon licensure, and EMTs at Medstar are eligible for free Paramedic training (also on-site) as a benefit of employment.

A non-profit group in Maine. The best Squad 51 tribute - built on a 1972 Dodge chassis with an actual LACFD Rescue Squad utility body.
